Redan tidigt \u00e5kte hon ut i Europa f\u00f6r att utbilda sig vidare, och hade framg\u00e5ngar b\u00e5de i Paris, England och USA. I England var hon under flera \u00e5r \u201ds\u00e5ngerskan p\u00e5 modet.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Hon komponerade ocks\u00e5 egen musik, som hon p\u00e5 senare \u00e5r ofta framf\u00f6rde i kyrkor och vid jordf\u00e4stningar. Som m\u00e5nga andra kvinnor f\u00f6rr, anv\u00e4nde hon sig av en pseudonym som komposit\u00f6r, Z Remparti.<\/p>\n<p>Samtida kritiker beskrev hennes sopranr\u00f6st som omf\u00e5ngsrik och synnerligen klangfull och v\u00e4lljudande.
